Though this quote needs to be taken with a grain of salt considering the hedonist life of F. Scott Fitzgerald, it is nonetheless a wine quote we agree with (sometimes). All alcohol should be consumed in moderation, but since champagne or spumante is that classic bubbly drink you have during those very special occasions, it can be ok to indulge once in a while. We can also interpret “too much” as in how and when to drink the bubbly. You don’t need to wait for that special festivity. You don’t need to drink it only before dinner. Champagne and spumante are now more than welcome throughout an entire meal. And no it is not too much to do so!
