“The connoisseur does not drink wine but tastes its secrets.” – Salvador Dali
A fine wine is noted by its aromas and flavors, but you must be a good listener in order to fully comprehend what secrets a wine has to tell. Depending on age, process, grape variety and terroir, a wine can have dozens of aromas to share. This is an art form in and of itself and its no wonder such a great artist would notice the masterpiece which lies within a wine!
A toast to Dali! May we discover the secrets of a Brunello di Montalcino as he would have wished us to.
